Update (9/3): Ariana Grande is getting fans super hyped for some big news, and it's likely centered around her upcoming album, Moonlight.

The singer went on Twitter to tell Arianators how excited she was for the "nearby future," mysteriously adding that she consider October pretty near. She then reportedly shared the following tweet before quickly deleting it with a fan capturing the message:

Fans are taking the moon emoji to represent Moonlight, putting together that "Moonlight festivities begin in October." This likely means her new album promotions could start then (with new single "Focus on Me") or perhaps the entire LP is dropping. It would make sense for it to show up soon—Grande dropped her first two albums within a year of each other, with My Everything landing a little more than a year ago, on August 22, 2014. Could Ari follow Rihanna's four-albums-in-four-years streak from 2009 to 2012?

No official word yet, but consider Ari added to our most anticipated fall albums. Read on for the other details the star has revealed on the upcoming record to date.

Original Story (6/1): With five hit singles, two GRAMMY nominations and a massive accompanying tour to its name, Ariana Grande's second album, My Everything, has been anything but a sophomore slump. It shouldn't come as a surprise that the tiny diva is hard at work in the studio, and now she's given fans a slight indication of her upcoming direction.

Ari chatted with a fan on Twitter to reveal that the title of her third album is Moonlight, adding that the title doubles as her "favorite / most special song [she's recorded] to this day." Grande said she wrote the song with "v," who fans have come to know as Ariana collaborator and Atlantic Records' R&B singer Victoria Monet, who has also written for Mary J. BligeFifth Harmony and Chris Brown.

The "One Last Time" star also teased a few new lyrics from the LP's intro track on Twitter:

There's no time table on Moonlight, but given the second North American leg of her Honeymoon tour will keep busy until mid-October, we wouldn't expect the record until early 2016. But it looks like we'll get plenty of Ariana's signature R&B-influenced sound and lovey-dovey lyrics. Stay tuned for more!
