This week for #FutureAsianPacificHistory, we’re honoring blogger, fashionista, and juvenile justice advocate Wendy Nguyen (@wendyslookbook). From going viral on YouTube to her own CBD shop, she’s a savvy and versatile businesswomen, but more than that, she has used her platform to bring awareness to the foster system in America.
Placed in foster care at age 15 when her biological home became unsafe, Wendy overcame immense hardship—and constantly finds ways to give back. Through Wendy’s Lookbook Foundation, she meaningfully help youth who have been through the juvenile justice system through entrepreneurship and social enterprise workshops and curriculum.
For using the challenges she has overcome to help the next generation, Wendy Nguyen is #FutureAsianPacificHistory!
